Blender 3D AI features

Blender 3D AI features come to life with Bonfire Terminal, a local-first app running Claude, Gemini, or Llama on your own machine. Using your Blender context, the AI assists with scene setup, asset organization, and render planning, no cloud upload required.

How Bonfire works with Blender 3D

Blender 3D does not expose a public REST API we can drive directly. Instead Bonfire stores your Blender 3D credentials and context locally on your machine and surfaces them to your chosen AI model, so an agent can reason over your 3D Creation Software data and draft, summarize, and prepare work — while your data stays on your own hardware.

Blender 3D agents in action

Telegram: a chat command → Bonfire → Blender 3D → run a task and replies with the result.
Slack: ask a question → Bonfire → Blender 3D → pull a summary posted back to the channel.
Scheduled: nightly → an agent checks Blender 3D and flags anything that needs your attention.

Blender 3D — questions

How does Bonfire work with Blender 3D?

Bonfire stores your Blender 3D context and credentials locally and surfaces them to your chosen AI model, which reasons over your data on-device — Blender 3D has no public API for Bonfire to call directly.

Does my Blender 3D data go to the cloud?

Bonfire runs on your desktop and keeps your keys local — it isn't a SaaS holding your data. Only the specific request you approve is sent to your chosen AI model.

Which AI models can I use?

Any connected model — Claude, GPT, Gemini or Grok. A fully offline Llama model runs locally for private reasoning but can't reach live APIs.
